Supporting unusual events is something we love doing at Avion TSL. When we were approached to light a Human Hamster Wheel for 50 hrs in Brindley Place Birmingham we didn’t ask why, we just agreed to sponsor it!
As time went by we learnt more about what we were being asked to do and why…but wow, what an achievement!
From 5pm on Friday 16th September until 7pm Sunday 18th September the Human Hamster Wheel will have 25 Firefighters & 25 Paramedics running to raise funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and Cure Leukaemia! Congratulations to all the runners and supporters for raising such a phenomenal amount for the two selected charities!
Adam Lote, one of the organisers, emailed us after and said:
It was truly humbling and heart warming for you do what you did and we feel it really made a great contribution to the overwhelming response we got from the event, which if you weren’t already aware made over £8800 for the two charities!
You were so accommodating and kind, a great company and you really helped bring this event, which is close to our hearts, together!
See the video we streamed live of the end of the 50th hour!
